As colder weather settles in, we would also like to share a few tips to help everyone stay warm and safe this winter:

• Layer Up: Wear several light layers rather than one heavy layer. Start with a moisture-wicking base layer, add an insulating layer like fleece or wool, and finish with a wind- and water-resistant outer layer.

• Cover Your Extremities: A warm hat, gloves, and thick socks are essential. Most body heat is lost through the head and hands, so keeping them covered makes a big difference.

• Choose Weather-Appropriate Footwear: Insulated, waterproof boots help keep your feet warm and dry in snow, slush, or icy conditions.

• Stay Dry: Wet clothing rapidly lowers body temperature. If your clothes get wet, change into dry layers as soon as possible.

• Don’t Forget Scarves and Face Coverings: A scarf or gaiter protects your neck and face from cold winds and makes breathing outdoors more comfortable.
