Neighborhood Association Meetings

One of Mayor Chess's goals as mayor is to strengthen community ties. In every corner of our nation, people are feeling more isolated than ever and often don’t know their neighbors. He believes we need to change that and build stronger ties and partnerships throughout our community.

That's why the Town of Stratford is excited to share that starting the week of February 16, and in partnership with the Office of Community Development and Engagement, we will begin hosting Neighborhood Associations meetings. The Neighborhood Associations will be in each of our ten districts and are a simple yet powerful way to bring people together while creating a clear line of communication between residents and local government.

The Neighborhood Associations will help shine a light on available Town services and community-wide opportunities. They will also help residents stay informed about plans, projects, and services so they can benefit from them. These groups will be a key link between neighborhoods and the Town and an easy, organized way for residents to share concerns, ideas, and insights.

In a town with ten unique districts, neighborhood associations build connection, inclusion, and shared pride, reminding everyone that every neighborhood has something great to offer.
