Stratford Point Lighthouse
1275 Prospect Drive, Stratford, CT 06615, USA

On August 7, 1789, Congress approved an Act for the establishment and support of lighthouses, beacons, buoys, and public piers. In commemoration of that historic act, Stratford is holding an Open House at the Stratford Point Lighthouse.

National Lighthouse Day is coming to the Stratford Point Lighthouse August 7th from 1:00PM until 4:30PM. Reservations are required to be admitted into the lighthouse on National Lighthouse Day. Lighthouse grounds, keeper's cottage, and foghorn building will be open to the general public. You must reserve a time for your admission into the lighthouse. Only 15 people will be admitted every 30 minutes.

Children under 12 years of age will not be permitted to enter the lighthouse. If you have any mobility issues such as bad knees, bad hips, or impaired movement on one or more limbs, you should not register for a time slot.

Theodore and Kate Judson will be on-hand to greet you on National Lighthouse Day.
