Welcome to Stratford Senior Services

Stratford Senior Services’ mission is to enhance the quality of life within the community by providing services with professionalism and a commitment to excellence. This is achieved through six different program areas.

• The Baldwin Center, Stratford’s Senior Center, is open Mondays-Fridays, from 8:30am - 4:00pm.

• Assistance is available to Stratford residents 60 years of age and older with regard to energy assistance, renters’ rebate, tax relief programs, and other entitlements through the Municipal Agent/Social Services Coordinator.

• The Outreach Coordinator makes home visits to older adults, plans programs at the Housing sites and coordinates our intergenerational programs.

• Stratford’s Transportation Program is available to persons 60 and over or those who are disabled and on SSD.

• Help with caring for an aged family member is provided through the Family Caregiver Support Program.

• C.A.R.E.S. is a social model activities program for older adults who are frail or in need of some extra assistance. This Monday-Friday program starts at 9:00am and ends at 2:30pm.
