COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Update January 15, 2021

Connecticut is currently in Phase 1a of vaccine distribution and is beginning Phase 1b. Those eligible in Phase 1b include frontline essential workers, individuals and staff in congregate settings, and individuals 75 years of age and older.  

For all individuals aged 75 and older:  Individuals 75 years of age and older are now eligible to schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine: 

Individuals ages 75+ with email and computer access, please use the following link to access more information https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/COVID-19-Vaccination---75-and-older. Please note, a unique email address for each individual is required to make an appointment through the Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS). You cannot use the same email address for two people.

 Individuals 75+ who do not have an email, contact Connecticut’s COVID Vaccine Appointment Assistance Line at 877-918-2224. The line will take calls on Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will offer a call-back option when all contact specialists are busy serving other callers. The team will aim to return calls as soon as possible, with the goal of same-day response.

Healthcare Provider: Many residents have already been or will be contacted by their healthcare provider to schedule an appointment if their provider is participating in the state’s vaccine program. Not all providers are administering the vaccine. A list of participating providers is available at ct.gov/covidvaccine. Residents are urged not to contact their physician or healthcare provider directly for COVID vaccine appointments

 Information regarding how additional Phase 1b groups can schedule an appointment will be released soon. Please check CT's main COVID-19 Vaccination Portal for the most up-to-date information about vaccine distribution in the State. Please use this time to talk to your healthcare provider about receiving the vaccine.
