Reminders from the Office of the Registrar of Voters
|On Tuesday July 22, 2014 there will be a special election in Stratford to fill the seat left open with the passing of State Rep. Larry Miller.
This is open to all registered voters in the 122nd Assembly District. Voting will take place at Chapel and Bunnell only! If you are unsure of your district please feel free to contact the Registrars Office at 203-385-4048. Polls, as always, will be open from 6am-8pm.
The office of the Registrar of Voters, Town of Stratford, will
be conducting a SPECIAL VOTER REGISTRATION SESSION. This will take place
on TUESDAY July 29, 2014 in the Town Hall, Rm. 117, from 5pm-7pm. As
always, should you have any questions, feel free to call the Registrar’s office
On Tuesday August 12, 2014 both Democratic and Republican parties will be conducting Primaries. All ten (10) polling locations town wide will be open from 6am-8pm.
In the Democratic Primary ballots will be cast for the 23rd Senatorial District at Johnson, Franklin and Stratford High. In the Republican Primary there will be town wide races for Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Comptroller. In addition to the town wide races there will be a Republican Primary for the 122nd Assembly Seat.
Please remember that you must be registered with a party in order to participate in that party’s primary. Should you have any questions feel free to contact the Registrars Office at 203-385-4048.

Please keep in mind the following:
1) Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
2) IF you are 17 years of age, and will be 18 on or before
Election Day, you are eligible to register and vote.
