HIPAA Policy

Confidentiality is very important in public health. In 1996, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) was passed. HIPAA is a federal law that protects the confidentiality of your medical records.

The Stratford Health Department has created a HIPAA Privacy Policy. Those receiving our clinic services will be asked to read the policy and sign the HIPAA Privacy Notice.
