STRATFORD EMS OPTIONAL UNIFORM APPAREL

Optional, uniform apparel is available through an approved online vendor. Members are still responsible for the cost of optional uniform apparel.   All orders are now placed online and shipped directly to the member. For security reasons, the vendor will contact the EMS Office to verify all orders.   If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact the EMS Office.

Work shirts for use during colder weather are still available.  Polo shirts for warmer weather will be available starting July 1, 2009.

OPERATIONS MANUAL

The Operations Manual of Stratford EMS may be reviewed by following the links below.   Due to file size limitations, each section is linked separately.   Questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding the operations manual may be submitted directly to Administrator Donna Best.

  • OPERATIONS MANUAL - DRAFT REVISIONS

    The Operations Manual has recently gone through a complete review by the Stratford EMS Officers.  Following are links to download the draft changes of the document.   Any questions, comments, or suggestions regarding the proposed changes may be submitted to Administrator Donna Best.

    ICS / NIMS Compliance

    All Members of Stratford EMS must successfully complete the following three courses for NIMS compliance.  In addition to classroom sessions, Members have the option of completing the course online.  At the conclusion of each online course, you will have the opportunity to print the final exam and take the exam online.  You must submit a copy of your FEMA completion certificate to the EMS Administrative Office.

    IS-200.a ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
    IS-700.a National Incident Management System - Introduction
    IS-800.b National Response Framework - Introduction
