The Office of Economic Development welcomes you to our monthly update on economic activity in the Town of Stratford.
- Commercial, industrial, retail and office building permits for the month of January totaled $286,500.
- Rivenova will have their Official Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Thursday February 4th fro 5:00pm until 7:00pm. The ceremony is part of the Stratford Chamber of Commerce 1st Thursday presentations of visiting our local restaurants. A quite popular event in marketing our dining facilities in Stratford.
- Assaggio’s restaurant at the Dock had their Official Ribbon cutting in early January.
- Square One Theater Company latest production is Love Letters now playing at the Stratford Center Theater. Call for tickets at 203-375-8778 and also ask about the theater dinner specials for patrons of Square One. The Shell Station, Stephens Pub and Rivenova are participating in the promotion. Performances are being held on Friday & Saturday at 8:00P.M. from February 5th through February 14th. A special Saturday performance will be held on Saturday February 20th at 4:00P.M.
- The Greater Fairfield County Consolidated Listing Service reported that 22 single-family homes sold during the month of January at an average selling price of $266,885 and had a market exposure of an average of 97 days.*
