08-06-07 Mayor James R. Miron and members of his administration met with Mayor Beth Ripper from Wellington Shire Council, Victoria, Australia as part of the Sister Cities Program. Mayor Ripper attended the Stratford Sister Cities Reunion in Stratford, Ontario prior to coming to Connecticut. Mayor Ripper, along with Hugh Catalano, a member of the local Stratford Shakespeare Committee, met with Mayor Miron to discuss partnership opportunities regarding the Sister Cities program as it relates to the Shakespeare Theaters - located both in Stratford, Connecticut and in Stratford, Australia.
