BACK NEXT 02-22-07 The United Illuminating Company (UI) recognized Spotless Laundromat in Stratford for its participation in UI’s Energy Conscious Blueprint Program and setting an example for fellow small business owners. UI recommended energy-efficient equipment and materials including the installation of two HVAC systems and 36 new energy-efficient washer extractor machines. Spotless Laundromat has earned $13,055 in cash incentives from the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund (CEEF) to pay for the upgrades as well as an estimated $4,011 in annual electric bill savings. Additionally, they will be saving approximately 16,583 kWh a year. Left to right, Diane C.
