02-13-07 The 2006 Bunnell High School Boys Varsity Football Team was recognized by Mayor James R. Miron for winning the state championship. This was the second team in the Town’s history to win the championship with a 28-26 victory over Staples High School. Led by Head Coach Craig Bruno, the Bunnell High School Boys Varsity Football Team finished the 2006 season with an outstanding regular season record of 12-1.
