11-07-06 Mayor James R. Miron implemented the first recommendation of the Mayor’s Citizens Panel - an Election Day Food Drive. Held with support from the Registrars of Voters, Lou DeCilio (R) and Dick Miron (D), in conjunction with Election Day on Tuesday, November 7, 2006, collection containers were set up at each of Stratford’s 13 polling locations on Election Day. All donations were delivered to local food pantries in preparation for the holiday season.
