The Stratford Health Department is working to improve access to healthy foods in Stratford by connecting food pantries and soup kitchens with community gardens.  Please consider donating your excess produce to the following food pantries and soup kitchens during the days and times listed. First Baptist Church

Available to receive donations: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am-4pm; Thursdays from 12pm-8pm; Fridays from 8:30am-4pm; Saturdays from 9am-11:30am (except the first Saturday of the month)

 

First Haitian Evangelical Church

Address: 1192 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615

Available to receive donations: Fridays from 11am-1pm

 

Friendship Baptist Church

Address: 235 Albert Ave, Stratford, CT 06614

Available to receive donations: Fridays from 10:30am-11am

 

South End Community Center

Address: 19 Bates St, Stratford, CT 06615

Available to receive donations: Wednesdays (except the first Wednesday of the month) from 8:30 am-9 am in the rear of the parking lot (Door is usually open when they are unloading for the pantry)

 

Sterling House Community Center

Available to receive donations: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12pm-3pm

 

Stratford Baptist Church

Available to receive donations: Tuesdays from 12pm-1:15pm

 

St. James Parish Center

Available to receive donations: Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm in the Parish Center

 

Produce donations must be clean and bug free.
